You were here

And I did care

I still care

Though you are gone

A fleeting moment

Barely alive

Broke my heart

You shouldn’t have died.

Fate took you away

Before you could be,

My beautiful child,

Born and free

I’ll love you today

I’ll love you for always

For though you are gone

My baby you’ll be.
