My heart has learned to dream again
In daytime and in night
The flighty forces floating through
No longer filled with fright.
The desire for happiness is building up
That gentle release of calm
It lightens me and makes me see
I am still who I am.
Enlightened sleep filled with everlasting hope
Of smiles and laughter, being free
The clocks have turned, the cogs don’t yearn
To escape. There’s once again glee.
